I became a Holistic Health practitioner after dealing with depression and anxiety for most of my adult life, resulting in numerous burn-outs, and periods of deep depression – in retrospect I can see now how this affected my friendships, career, relationships, optimism, self-worth and my overall ability to have enough energy throughout the day to find meaning in work and my personal life. I felt alone in a sea of advice, tools, tips, tricks, exercises that I didn’t even have the motivation to try (because I was depressed).
When a therapist told me it might be time for medication, I had made the decision I wanted to explore and discover the root cause of my suffering and not take medication to simply not feel things anymore.
I couldn’t picture a life managing my condition, I wanted to feel like myself again and was convinced there was a better way.
In 2012 I discovered homeopathy and it changed my worldview in terms of what true health means (it’s not the absence of physical illness or symptoms!) and provided me with the experience to be able to sit with an individual before me and explore their uniqueness. It is this uniqueness that I prescribe upon, not upon your condition or diagnosis. This is what makes homeopathy special, and often, misunderstood.
I am humbled every day and consider it a privilege to be able to explore the human condition of each client who comes to see me.
